Nicole Barrett and Kelly Fontenelle are no strangers to the travel industry. With over 40+ years of travel experience combined, they both have a following of travel agents that rely on them for travel and travel business resources.

The duo not only has their respective successful marketing agencies, but they have also collaborated on projects including the wildly successful Tackling Travel podcast, Fams and Retreats, The Travel Fair, and the soon-to-come Uncover Your Caribbean travel show.

Nicole Barrett

Founder + CEO: The Minted Lab, Espy Global

Nicole is an award-winning Travel & Sales Consultant and Travel Business Development Strategist with over eighteen years of travel marketing and sales experience. She has led, trained, and consulted with some of the most successful sales and travel professionals around the globe.

In addition to founding The Minted Lab, an all-in-one email marketing platform for Travel Advisors, Nicole advises boutique hotels on ideal product placement and distribution in North America. Boutique hotels hire Nicole and Espy Global to cultivate leads, build relationships and increase market share in North America to generate new business through direct consumer and Travel Agent bookings.

After having spent over a decade at Sandals and Beaches Resorts leading a team of eleven Business Development Managers (BDMs) in the Northeast USA Region, Nicole established Espy Global to help other hotels and tour companies secure their space in the North American market.

Nicole's resume also includes executive-level positions at other established hotel and resort companies such as Starwood Hotels, Fairmont Hotels, Sofitel Hotels, and Walt Disney World.

Kelly Fontenelle

Founder + CEO: TASC, KFMCS

Kelly Fontenelle has been a trailblazer in the Caribbean travel and tourism industry for more than two decades. A native of the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia – much of her professional career has been devoted to growing Saint Lucia’s tourism industry. The expertise developed through the last three decades is unmatched - her understanding of consumer travel trends and the travel agency business has resulted in Saint Lucia’s significant growth in all subsectors of the American travel market over the last decade.

Kelly led the integrated marketing campaigns for Saint Lucia throughout the USA, creating programming that strengthened Saint Lucia’s positioning in key airlift markets.

In addition, Kelly played a fundamental role in developing the Saint Lucia Expert (SLEx) loyalty program for SLTA, which resulted in more than 20,000 new and loyal brand agents in less than five years. She also developed the Romance Specialist Program for the island, further strengthening the destination’s dominance as a romance destination.

Kelly founded (TASC) Travel Advisors Selling the Caribbean, an organization created to educate Travel Advisors about the Caribbean and its product offerings.
